(remove any hubs between the PS3 and usb because it needs to be dev_usb000) The structure looks like this:į:\exdata\EP0700-BLES01250_00-DLCSC5ANCIENT001.rap RAP files need to be in a folder called exdata. !thJB1ZQB!2v0BO-UuynXYVLsIxQdgvNrA1y-Pqfi8CmQuRvtugCMġ) Copy the RAP files to a usb drive and plug it in To get your PKGs and their respective RAPs grab PSNStuffX from here: RIFs are in turn used to activate PSN content. RAP files are used to generate RIF files. Inside each folder is just a bunch of game files (which I don't feel like explaining. dev_hdd0/GAMES/Jak and Daxter Collection-And so on. dev_hdd0/GAMES/Diablo III Reaper of Souls. If any more information is needed, let me know. What are some need-to-have homebrew applications for Rebug 4.80.1 (that actually work on 4.80.1)?Ħ. Are there any updated MM tutorials out there?ĥ. I know there is a MultiMan tutorial out there, but it is unfinished and outdated (it's used for MM 2.0).
#PS3 CFW REBUG APP HOME FOLDER ERROR INSTALL#
I want to be able to play PS2/PS1 ISO's from either an external or internal HDD, if possible (or network, but I'm not really too concerned about that if I can install the 1TB HDD).Ĥ.
#PS3 CFW REBUG APP HOME FOLDER ERROR HOW TO#
After finding clean tutorials on how to set this up, I plan to install a 1TB HDD with Rebug 4.80.1 (instead of the 40GB HDD that I started with)ģ. Figure out what RAP files are, how they are linked with PKG files, and how I can install both on Rebug 4.80.1 (is there even an updated program that works on 4.80.1 to do this?)Ģ.
#PS3 CFW REBUG APP HOME FOLDER ERROR ISO#
Boot PS3 ISO's from either the internal HDD or an external HDD (I know ISO splitting needs to be done for many larger games with psnstuff)Ģ. Where do I go from here/what tutorials are there that are updated and more noob friendly?ġ.

With this in mind, I'm speaking from a point of knowing next to nothing about PS3 modding.

I jumped from the PS2 into the PS3 modding scene and discovered that it's much more involved and complex than the PS2 (which was, of course, expected), but there aren't really any noob friendly tutorials to speak of (that I could find, anyway,/that aren't 4-5 years old and outdated). My OFW is currently still sitting on 4.Installed CFW Rebug REX 4.80.1 using the USB0/PS3/UPDATE/(updatefile).pup on a flash drive I did this using mrmario2011 video youtube tutorial (recent one), which i had to install this HFW first then install CFW (above) after - HFW_4.84.2_PS3UPDAT_03_22_2019 only one I have and would love to get this fixed.ĬFW used to jailbreak - REBUG_4.84.1_REX_PS3UPDAT_8b68282425665fd4453b8ae14839d876 I checked other threads online some go I have to install a different CFW other than the one I used? I am not going to do something stupid and then end up bricking this PS3. What is going on, I thought this was supposed to be simple or something? im really getting stressed as I have no idea what to do, I have re downloaded the same CFW used to jailbreak, and checked the MD5 etc, all okay, but same problem.
#PS3 CFW REBUG APP HOME FOLDER ERROR UPGRADE#
Hi all, okay i just tried to upgrade my hdd to bigger one, on the online wiki it just says take out old hdd, put in usb with EXACT same CFW used when jailbreaking PS3, so I got the EXACT same one as last time, then proceeded to install the new HDD, now problem is when HDD is formatted, it tells me I need to reinstall the fw, so it finds the one I put onto USB, however when It tries to install it, I get the error as per above:
